Nectar Exotic

Nectar~Exotic has specially be made for all tropical birds as finches, flycatchers, robins, bluebirds, babblers, niltavas, wrens, australian finches, astrildae and mannikins. It contains 21 different essential and non-essential amino acids with an extra increased amount of the amino acids. Supplying nectar is an easy way of providing your birds in a very simple manner with the required vitamins, minerals and amino acids. They like to drink it and therefor it is a effective way of giving them the necessary supplementation or even their merdication as a wormer or even an antibiotic. Especially for this group Avian have developed the Exoten~nectar. It contains all necessary vitamins, minerals and amino acids.

In our Nectar~Exotic we added 0.25% Spirulina. This microscopic vegetable is an edible blue-green algae sold as a dry powder. It deepens feather colour and shine, stimulates breeding and enhances fertility. Spirulina platensis is very nutritious, It has 62% amino acid contents. It is world's richest source of Vitamin B12 and antioxidant beta-carotene (20 times that of carrots). Scientists recently announced that the food Spirulina dramatically strengthens the avian immune system. Spirulina protected birds from infection with the antibiotic-resistant Staphylococcus aureus and E.coli. Scientists tested the theory that Spirulina platensis acts as a safe, edible broad-spectrum vaccine against bacteria or other disease-causing microbes. It is a natural green food, a safe alternative to antibiotics.

Preparation and dosage:
Avian Nectar offers you a simple method of feeding your birds and sunbirds an excellent substitute for nectar.

Dosage: 10 grammes per 100 ml of luke warm water.

Avian Nectar Exotic is suitable for sunbirds, sugarbirds, honeycreepers, spider hunters, tangers, chlorophonia,s and bulbuls and all fructivores birds.

Slowly add the nectar powder to lukewarm water stirring constantly to dissolve.
Do not use a mixer or whisk as this could destroy the vitamins.
Freshly made Avian Nectar will hold for 12 hours.
As all liquids containing protein will acidify in the course of the day and, as sunlight will speed up the acidification, we do advise you to make fresh nectar each day.
